The Neutrik NO2-4FDW-A is a front-mount opticalCON DUO chassis connector engineered for integrators and production teams who need reliable fiber termination points in installed AV systems, touring racks, and OEM equipment panels. Its feedthrough design accepts standard LC connectors on the rear, eliminating the need for custom fiber termination at the chassis and significantly reducing installation complexity in permanent and semi-permanent deployments.

Built in a standard D-size shell with black chromium-plated zinc diecast construction, this chassis connector is suited for demanding environments where dust, moisture, and mechanical stress are concerns. The automatic sealing shutter with silicone gasket keeps the optical port protected when unmated, and the Push-Pull locking mechanism delivers secure, repeatable connections across thousands of mating cycles. IP65 ingress protection is achieved in the mated condition when paired with compatible SCDP-* cable ends, making it a practical choice for outdoor staging, portable systems, and any installation where environmental sealing is required.

Color coding follows ANSI/TIA-568.3-D standards when used with SCDP-* cable ends, supporting multimode, single mode PC, and single mode APC configurations. The front panel accepts either a rugged opticalCON connector or a standard LC connector, giving system designers flexibility without compromising the integrity of the optical path. Note: this connector is not compatible with pre-IP65-rated cable ends, and the SCDP-* cable end must be ordered separately.
