The Neutrik SCDX is a hinged sealing cover designed for D-size chassis connectors, providing IP42-rated protection against water ingress and dust contamination when connectors are unmated. It is built for integrators and installers who need panel-mount solutions to remain protected during periods of inactivity or in environments where exposure to particulates and moisture is a concern.

The SCDX is compatible with an extensive range of D-series chassis connectors including XLR male and female, 1/4" jacks, speakON NL2M and NL4M, powerCON 20A, powerCON TRUE1, etherCON A, B, and CAT6 series, USB, HDMI, BNC, Phono, D-SUB, and Firewire — making it a single-SKU solution across mixed-format panel installations. For opticalCON applications, black identifies multi-mode fiber routing at a glance.

Constructed from PP-R plastic rated UL 94 HB for flammability, the SCDX is suited for installed AV environments including touring racks, fixed installations, and broadcast infrastructure where connector panels must withstand a wide operating temperature range and regular handling over the life of the installation.
