The Netron EP4 is aimed at lighting designers, programmers, and system integrators who need to move network lighting data onto DMX fixtures without adding a heavy rack processor. A single small box covers a four-universe show, whether that is a theater, a corporate stage, a house of worship, or a festival rig, and the bidirectional ports let one unit handle both outputs and inputs where a project calls for it.

Designed with ONYX NOVA Edition in mind, it gives programmers a dedicated four-universe output path that is easy to carry and easy to place. Its RDM-capable ports also give technicians a way to query and configure compatible fixtures from the network. Placing it near the fixtures keeps DMX runs short, which helps when load-in time is tight.

It suits permanent installs where one network cable is preferred, and temporary or touring rigs where a switch may not supply power. Mount choices cover truss, wall, and DIN rail, and the wall and rail hardware ships in the box, so crews can deploy it without a separate parts order. Compared with larger rack-mounted nodes, it trades chassis size for flexibility in where it can go.
