The On-Stage MBS-LP1 is built for broadcasters, podcasters, and remote production professionals who need precise, low-profile mic positioning without blocking the camera frame or sightlines. By extending from below rather than overhead, it clears the visual field for on-camera talent and streaming setups where a traditional top-down boom arm would appear in frame. The 5/8"-27-threaded stem accepts the full range of mic clips, shock mounts, phone and tablet holders, and ring lights, making it a versatile mounting platform beyond microphones alone.

Two mounting options are included for different installation needs. The C-clamp handles quick-setup scenarios on desks or tables up to 2.5" thick, with rubber padding to protect finished surfaces. The flange mount provides a screw-in, semipermanent anchor for dedicated studio or broadcast workstations. Both the lower and upper shafts swivel 360 degrees, and the upper shaft adjusts from vertical to fully horizontal, giving engineers the full range of placement angles needed for close-mic recording, interview formats, or multi-source setups. Built-in cable channels on the underside of the arm keep mic cables routed cleanly, reducing cable noise and maintaining a tidy on-camera appearance.
