Supporting up to 200 IP-connected cameras and 3 via RS-422, it scales from corporate event setups to full broadcast environments without requiring external control hardware upgrades.
Where conventional single-joystick controllers limit operator flexibility, the AW-RP200GJ introduces a second joystick on the left side, allowing nuanced camera movement across simultaneous feeds. Its macro functionality, a first for Panasonic remote camera controllers, lets operators execute complex multi-step camera operations with a single button press, reducing errors during live production and accelerating repetitive workflows. The 20 multi-select switches handle camera selection, preset recall, and macro triggering from one surface.
For technical integrators, the controller supports video input via NDI and SRT at Full HD, 3G-SDI input and output, GPIO via dual D-sub 25-pin connectors, and RS-422 serial control ports with tally output.
