The PLX-1000 Professional Turntable from Pioneer DJ combines 50 years of experience in building professional-grade DJ gear with in-depth research into what modern turntablists and club DJs require of their equipment. Designed with intentionality for use in clubs and booths of all kinds, the PLX-1000 delivers excellent sound quality and a classic analog vinyl feel. This is the quintessential turntable, a perfect marriage between classic, instinctive layout and next-generation precision that gives you all the freedom you need to control and sculpt your performance.
Thanks to its high-torque direct drive system, the PLX-1000 provides stable rotation that can withstand punishment, achieving starting torque of at least 4.5kg/cm and reaching the fixed rotation speed within just 0.3 seconds (at 33 1/3 rpm). Other features built into this turntable include multi-pitch control for club-grade audio and a START/STOP button that delivers zero-latency response at your command. Additionally, the PLX-1000 incorporates multi-tempo controls which give you three options to select from when matching BPM: instantly pick up or slow down the track ±8%, ±16%, and ±50%, while a simple reset button instantly reverts to ±0%.
The PLX-1000 boasts rock-solid construction of high-quality, durable components to minimize vibration, isolate from external noise, and ensure a stable installation. Its heavy-mass, die-cast zinc chassis prevents resonance, while the lower part of the unit is reinforced with 8mm-thick resin a 9mm-thick damping material in the base.
The player’s body is designed to keep cables from protruding beyond the outer dimensions for a clean, minimalist look and to keep cords out of your way while you play. The PLX-1000 comes with interchangeable power and audio cables, as well as premium gold-plated RCA jacks for low impedance and to yield a pristine sound quality.
