The ProCo Sound AODST Dante Drop Box series is built for live production engineers and installed-sound integrators who need a reliable, compact interface between analog equipment and a Dante audio network. Using a single RJ45 EtherCon Dante connection, the drop box passes up to four channels of line-level analog audio in either direction, making it equally at home at a stage pocket, in a rack bay, or mounted at a fixed install location. AES67 compliance ensures interoperability beyond Dante-native gear, opening the door for hybrid IP audio infrastructures without additional conversion hardware.
Where competing breakout solutions require external power supplies or separate network switches, the AODST draws power directly from any standard PoE switch, eliminating power runs to the stage and reducing cable clutter. The Neutrik locking EtherCon connector secures the network link against accidental disconnection in demanding live environments, while onboard LED indicators let engineers verify Dante system status and device function at a glance without opening a laptop. The rugged aluminum extrusion chassis is engineered to withstand the rigors of touring and permanent installation alike.
