The ProCo Sound DMX4U-BO-6 is part of the DMX over Category (DoC) cabling system, designed for lighting technicians and production teams that need to consolidate multiple DMX universes onto a single CAT6 or CAT5e infrastructure. By terminating four DMX lines into one Neutrik EtherCON connector, the DoC system dramatically reduces cable runs on stage, in arenas, or across installed venues where long-distance DMX distribution is required.
The DMX4U-BO-6 is the break-out end of a 4-universe DoC run, pairing directly with the DoC4U-O break-out box to distribute four discrete DMX universes from a single EtherCON trunk line. The 6 ft. fan gives technicians flexibility when connecting to lighting controllers, splitters, or fixtures at the receiving end without adapters or additional cable extensions.
The full DoC ecosystem includes 2, 3, and 4 universe break-in and break-out fans, all compatible with the DoC4U-I and DoC4U-O boxes available in eyelet or truss-clamp mounting options. This makes DoC a scalable solution for touring rigs, permanent installs, and broadcast environments where clean, reliable DMX over structured cabling is a priority.
