At the core of the iPlate are ProCo Sound MBT-1 Microphone Bridging Transformers — audiophile-grade units with mu-metal magnetic shielding and dual Faraday electrostatic isolation. This design delivers effective rejection of RFI, EMI, SCR dimmer interference, and 60 Hz hum that routinely plagues consumer-to-pro interfaces in installed environments. The Ground Lift switch handles grounding discrepancies between battery-powered and AC-sourced devices, eliminating buzz and hum from ground loops without requiring external DI boxes or adapter chains.
For installers, the screw-type barrier strip output — requiring no crimp terminals — speeds up termination and simplifies future serviceability.
