Whether the source is a laptop, MP3 player, iPod, or consumer CD/DVD player, the iRack accepts both a 3.5mm stereo mini and left/right RCA phono inputs simultaneously, then delivers a properly balanced output to the console's mic inputs without adapters or makeshift wiring.
Where the iRack separates itself from passive DI boxes and generic interface cables is in its use of ProCo Sound MBT-1 Microphone Bridging Transformers on the outputs.
