The ProX T-16MRSS MK2 is built for touring engineers, DJ production rigs, and installed AV operations that need to consolidate amplifiers, processors, and a mixer into a single transportable unit. The 16U front-load vertical bay handles power amps, signal processors, and any standard 19-inch rack gear, while the integrated 10U slant section keeps an audio mixer accessible without a separate case. This combo configuration reduces the number of cases to load, stage, and secure at each event.
Construction centers on 3/8-inch plywood laminated with ProX Honeycomb Digital surface protection, giving the shell resistance to scuffs and impact during repeated load-ins. Steel rack rails and steel ball corners reinforce the points most likely to take abuse in transit. Butterfly twist latches with padlock capability and a locking tongue-and-fit closure keep gear secured between shows. Recessed spring-action handles on each side and four-inch caster wheels with two locking positions make the case manageable for a single person moving across a stage or venue floor.
For engineers who also need a laptop at front-of-house, the case is designed to accept the T-LPSMR MK2 sliding laptop shelf, sold separately. Front and rear removable lids provide full access to patched gear from either side, an advantage in tight stage-left setups or rack rooms where rear access is limited. This is a practical choice when a standard road case or open rack simply cannot provide the combination of protection, security, and dual-format mounting that a working production rig demands.
