The ProX T-1U16XLR is a 1U punched rack panel engineered for audio engineers, system integrators, and touring production crews who need reliable, repeatable signal and power routing in portable or installed rack enclosures. The panel accepts up to 16 D-series connectors, accommodating XLR male, XLR female, speaker twist, and power connection panel mount types, as well as pass-through adapters. This flexibility makes it a practical foundation for building dense, organized I/O panels in stage racks, FOH cases, or installed AV rooms.
Constructed from 1.2mm steel with a black powder coat finish, the panel is reinforced along both edges to resist flexing under the stress of repeated connector insertions and field handling. Connectors are secured with #4-40 screws and locknuts, not included, which lock each connector firmly in place for consistent performance through load-in and teardown cycles. Compared to blank or universal panels, the pre-punched cutouts eliminate the need for custom fabrication, saving time on builds while ensuring every cutout is sized precisely for D-series hardware. ProX offers a full range of compatible panel mount connectors sold separately, including XLR-3 pin male and female, blue and gray power connection males, and XLR male-to-female and female-to-male pass-through adapters, allowing integrators to configure each panel to exact system requirements.
