The ProX T-1U8XLR is a 1U steel rack panel designed for systems integrators, touring engineers, and production teams who need a fast, repeatable way to build structured cabling interfaces inside rack cases. Rather than shipping gear with loose cables, users mount panel connectors directly into the punched cutouts, creating fixed input and output points that survive repeated setup and teardown cycles without connector wear or misrouting.
Each of the eight cutouts is sized for D-series connectors, accommodating XLR-M, XLR-F, speaker twist, and power connection panel-mount formats from the ProX XC connector line, as well as pass-through adapters. This flexibility lets a single panel serve as a combined audio, speaker, and power distribution interface in touring racks, installed AV systems, broadcast equipment racks, and permanent installation enclosures. Reinforced edges on both sides of the panel resist flexing under cable load, which matters in road cases that take regular mechanical stress.
The panel mounts using standard #4-40 screws with locknuts, a common hardware spec that keeps sourcing simple.
