The ProX T-4MRSS MK2 is built for live sound engineers, touring DJ rigs, and installed AV contractors who need a single case to handle both vertical rack gear and a top-loaded mixer bay. The 4U front-load vertical section accepts amplifiers, signal processors, and effects units on rugged steel rails at 20" depth, while the 10U top-load section is sized for full-width audio mixers that would otherwise require a separate enclosure. That combination eliminates an extra road case without sacrificing organized access on stage or in a rack room.
Construction centers on 3/8" thick plywood laminated with the ProX Honeycomb Digital surface, giving the shell resistance against road abrasion while keeping the profile clean for production environments. Recessed spring-action side handles, steel ball corners, and industrial-strength butterfly latches with padlock tabs handle the mechanical demands of repeated load-in and load-out. Dual anchor rivets and the tongue-and-groove lid fit hold alignment under transport vibration, reducing stress on the rack ears of mounted gear.
For engineers who also need a control surface at the rack, the case integrates with the T-LPSMRMK2 sliding laptop shelf sold separately. Compared to generic plywood rack cases without a mixer bay, the T-4MRSS MK2 consolidates front-of-house signal chain components into one flight-rated enclosure, trimming setup time and reducing the total number of cases moving through a venue.
