The ProX X-LS79 is a purpose-built lighting mount adapter designed for DJs, mobile entertainers, production crews, rental companies, and stage technicians who need to deploy lighting fixtures without adding dedicated tripods to their rig. By threading onto any standard 1 3/8" speaker pole or light-to-medium-duty crank stand, it converts existing stand infrastructure into a reliable lighting support point. This matters most in tight production environments where minimizing footprint is as important as coverage, such as weddings, club installs, banquet halls, and mobile stage setups.
The adapter accepts M10 threaded fixtures, the industry-standard metric thread used across effect lights, wash fixtures, and compact moving heads, making it broadly compatible with professional lighting inventory already in the field. A large locking nut secures the fixture itself while a set screw locks the adapter to the pole, providing two independent points of retention that reduce fixture movement during operation and transit. This dual-securing approach is meaningfully more reliable than single-point clamping adapters common in lower-cost alternatives.
All-steel construction supports the demands of touring and rental use without adding significant weight to a production kit. The black powder finish keeps the adapter visually neutral in any stage or event context.
