The ProX X-PC10ASTRO is a 1U rackmount power distribution center built for professional audio and video production rigs where cable management and power visibility matter. All ten AC outlets are positioned on the rear panel, so power connections terminate where cables naturally run, leaving the front of the rack clear for gear operation and quick workflow during show day. This layout is a direct answer to the cable chaos that front-panel strips introduce in touring racks, installed AV systems, and mobile production setups.
Integrated A/V metering gives engineers real-time voltage and current readouts at the unit itself, making it practical to monitor rack load without pulling up a separate tool. The front-panel 15A UL-rated breaker switch pairs with built-in surge protection to provide both passive spike suppression and active circuit control, covering the kind of power events that can take down amplifiers, processors, and DSP units mid-show. powerCON in and out connectors allow multiple units to be chained into a stable, locked distribution network, which is especially useful for larger festival or touring rigs that require power across multiple rack cases.
A built-in 5V USB port handles phone charging, tablet power, or USB worklights directly from the rack without requiring additional adapters or power strips. The aluminum and steel chassis is built to survive repeated load-in and load-out cycles, not just studio shelf life.
