ProX STP Cat 6 cables are purpose-built for audio engineers, systems integrators, and production crews who need reliable data links between stageboxes, digital snake systems, DMX controllers, and network switches. Constructed from 100% pure oxygen-free copper rather than copper-clad aluminum, every cable in this series meets UL Code 444 and NEC TIA-568-C.2 fire and safety requirements, making them suitable for both temporary touring deployments and code-compliant permanent installations. The shielded twisted pair construction delivers 550MHz bandwidth and meets CAT6 specifications per TIA/EIA 568B, ISO/IEC 11801, and EN 50173, providing meaningful headroom over CAT5e for demanding AV network environments.
The multilayer shielding architecture combines a braided tinned-copper shield, aluminum foil, and cotton and PP cross shielding to suppress EMI and crosstalk in electrically noisy stage and rack environments where unshielded cables routinely fail. Genuine ProX XC-RJ45M connectors are fitted at each end, and every cable is individually tested before shipping. Thermoplastic polyolefin insulation eliminates lead from the jacket, and IP65-rated mated connections provide dust and water resistance for outdoor festival use or wet stage conditions. Fixed-length options spanning a wide range let engineers and integrators select exactly the run they need without coiling excess cable or field-terminating under pressure.
