Every cable in the series is built on a twisted quad data cable architecture with polyethylene insulation on each conductor, maintaining a nominal characteristic impedance of 110 ohms across the full length. That spec is non-negotiable for EIA-485 and DMX512 compliance, and the twisted quad geometry holds it steady from connector to connector regardless of run length. Dual-layer shielding combines Duofoil at 100% coverage with a tinned copper braid at 85% coverage, keeping RF interference from dimmers, wireless systems, and power distribution out of the data path. Conductors are 22 AWG tinned copper with gold and silver-plated contacts and all-metal connector chassis at both ends, built for repeated insertion cycles on busy touring and rental schedules. A flexible PVC outer jacket handles the coiling, dragging, and temperature swings that come with live production without cracking or stiffening over time.
