The outer jacket is a premium rubber compound rated for outdoor use, with tested resistance to fluids and oils that are common in automotive and marine environments. The signal conductors are 22-gauge oxygen-free copper insulated with polypropylene, shielded and spiral-wrapped with 24-gauge wire to suppress noise pickup along the run. The three power conductors are 12-gauge oxygen-free copper, capable of sustaining the current demands of amplifiers, equalizers, and crossovers fed from a single cable path.
