The ProX XC-MIC series is engineered for live sound engineers, touring crews, AV integrators, and studio professionals who treat every cable in the signal chain as a critical component. Seven lengths spanning 3 ft. through 100 ft. give engineers the right cable for every run without resorting to excess slack or daisy-chaining shorter cables.
At the core of every XC-MIC cable are 20 AWG Oxygen-Free Copper conductors wrapped in a 93% braided OFC shield. That combination addresses the two most common failure points in a professional XLR cable: signal degradation from oxidized or undersized conductors, and noise pickup from insufficient shielding. The braided construction holds its coverage through repeated coiling and deployment, outperforming foil designs that develop gaps over time. The balanced XLR signal path actively cancels electromagnetic interference and hum, which matters in any environment shared with stage lighting, power distribution, and RF sources.
The all-metal ProX branded XLR connectors are finished with plated contacts for corrosion resistance and long-term conductivity, and the housings are built to absorb the physical abuse of daily pack-in and pack-out without cracking or loosening. Every cable in the series is individually tested before it ships, removing the risk of pulling a failed cable at load-in.
