The ProX XS-7DTW is built for production crews, sound engineers, and event technicians who need organized, road-ready storage at front-of-house, on stage, or in a gear room. The seven-drawer configuration includes three 2U, three 3U, and one 6U rack drawers, giving crews a tiered storage system for everything from cables and connectors to wireless microphone systems and small electronics. Ball-bearing drawer slides handle repeated daily access without degrading over years of use, making this a practical alternative to generic road cases or open shelf units that offer no containment.
The case lid detaches and mounts to either the left or right side of the unit, converting into a 21.5" x 38" work surface. That surface is large enough for signal flow diagrams, laptop work, or equipment prep during load-in, without requiring a separate table. Four professional-grade casters, two of which lock, keep the workstation planted on stage or mobile between positions. Recessed fold-out handles on both sides allow two-person lifting when casters are not practical.
Construction uses ProX Signature Series plywood with Honeycomb Digital laminate on all exterior surfaces. The hexagon-grid finish resists minor scratches better than standard laminated plywood and maintains a professional appearance across touring cycles. Reinforced steel ball corners, dual anchor rivets, industrial butterfly twist-lock latches with padlock capability, and tongue-and-groove edge fitting meet ATA-300 flight case standards. CNC manufacturing ensures consistent tolerances across every unit. Interior foam padding is produced from 85% recycled materials, and the case carries a ProX Limited Lifetime Warranty.
