Mobile DJs and touring production teams need gear protection that holds up across back-to-back gigs, load-ins, and transport without adding unnecessary complexity to the workflow. This ProX ATA flight case series is purpose-built for large-format 12" DJ mixers, offering a rigid shell constructed from CNC-machined 3/8" Gig-Ready Series laminated plywood with Honeycomb Digital exterior laminate. The hexagonal surface pattern resists minor scratches better than standard laminated plywood cases, and consistent CNC tolerancing means every unit meets the same fit and finish standard that ProX has maintained since 1984.
The case ships in finish and configuration options to match different DJ setups. Variants are available in Black on Black and Silver on Black Honeycomb Digital exterior finishes, and with or without a built-in sliding laptop shelf for DJs who run a laptop as part of their performance rig. All configurations share the same structural hardware: recessed spring-action side handles, reinforced steel ball corners, dual anchor rivets, and industrial butterfly twist-lock latches rated for padlocking. A removable front panel provides direct access to the mixer's front-panel inputs and headphone jacks during performance, and a rear cable access hole with removable cover keeps signal runs clean. Interior high-density foam provides secure support, and the rubber foam used across the product line contains 70% recycled content.
This case fits Allen and Heath Xone-series mixers and universal 12" format mixers. It is the right choice for working DJs who need flight-grade protection, job-site convenience features, and hardware that can be padlocked for secure transport or checked baggage.
