DJ engineers and touring performers who rely on the Pioneer XDJ-XZ need a case that moves as hard as they do. This ProX ATA flight case is purpose-built for the XDJ-XZ, providing a custom-fitted interior with high-density foam support, a removable V-shape front panel for direct access to input jacks and the front 1U rack space, and storage room for cables and small accessories behind and beneath the controller. The integrated 1U 19" rack mount section below the controller ships with rack rails that can be positioned for front or rear mounting, letting engineers consolidate a DI, audio interface, or utility device inside the same case.
The shell is laminated 3/8" plywood finished in ProX's Honeycomb Digital hexagon-grid surface, which resists minor scratches and sets the case apart visually from generic road cases. CNC manufacturing throughout the production process ensures consistent fit and tolerance across every unit, a critical detail when a case needs to close cleanly night after night on a touring schedule. Hardware across the range includes aluminum tongue-and-groove closures, spring-action recessed handles, steel ball corners with dual anchor rivets, low-profile rubber wheels, industrial recessed butterfly twist-lock latches that accept a padlock, and four rubber feet for stable stationary use. The case is available in Black/Black and Silver/Black hardware finishes, and in versions with and without a sliding laptop shelf for operators running Serato or Rekordbox from a laptop during performance.
