Live sound engineers and touring production crews who run Yamaha MGP-series consoles need cases built to the same standard as the gear inside. These ProX ATA flight cases are custom-designed around Yamaha MGP console footprints, eliminating the sloppy fit of universal cases and the wasted interior space that turns into damage during transport. ATA-300 construction means the cases meet the standard demanded by airlines, freight carriers, and rental houses alike, making them equally appropriate for fly-dates and ground tours.
The interior is lined with high-density foam that locks the console in position and absorbs road shock, while recessed spring-action handles on both sides let crew members carry the case without catching hardware on other gear. Heavy-duty steel ball corners, dual anchor rivets, and premium 3/8" plywood combine into a shell that resists corner impacts and racking loads that destroy cheaper cases. Industrial recessed butterfly twist lock latches are padlock-compatible, so the case can be secured in shared truck bays or unsupervised storage without additional hardware.
ProX finishes the exterior in Honeycomb Digital laminate, a hexagonal-patterned surface that resists scuffs and scratches through repeated load-ins. The available console-specific variants cover both the MGP24X and MGP32X, letting FOH engineers spec the exact case for their desk rather than settling for an approximation.
