The ProX XSM-YPM5LMA is a purpose-engineered tour flight case manufactured by Santosom in Portugal and distributed in North America by ProX Live Performance Gear. It is built specifically for touring and production engineers running the Yamaha Rivage PM5 CS-R5 digital mixing console at the highest levels of live audio. This is not a generic road case adapted for a large-format mixer. Every interior dimension, mounting point, and accessory position has been designed around the PM5 CS-R5 so that the system ships safely, deploys quickly, and functions as a full operator workstation from the moment the lid comes off.
Where standard touring cases stop at protection, this case continues into productivity. A built-in LED lighting bar eliminates the need for clip-on work lights in dark stage environments. A swivel arm mount accommodates up to two monitors, and a swivel arm laptop tray keeps the engineer's computer within reach without a separate stand. Sliding trays for keyboard, mouse, headphones, and a microphone give every accessory a defined home, reducing setup time at each venue. A dedicated rear doghouse compartment isolates cable runs from the console interior during transport, a practical separation that protects both the cables and the console surface.
The structural foundation is laminated birch plywood with an aluminum hybrid lid, a 35x35mm aluminum L-angle perimeter frame, eight butterfly latches, eight ball corners, and eight corner braces. Twelve recessed sprung handles distribute load for multi-person carries, and four heavy-duty blue casters with two integrated brakes handle ground transport across venue floors. At a shipping weight of 279 lbs, LTL freight is required. The case is TAA compliant, making it a valid option for government and institutional sound system deployments where procurement rules apply.
