The ProX XT-CDF12 Foldaway Double Clamp Mount is built for riggers, lighting designers, and production companies who run moving head fixtures on truss. The core problem it solves is practical: standard road cases require clamps to be fully removed before the lid closes, adding time and creating opportunities for hardware to go missing during a fast strike. The XT-CDF12 folds flat to approximately 1-1/4 inches, allowing fixtures to go directly into standard moving head flight cases with the clamp assembly still attached.
The plate uses one fixed-direction clamp and one rotatable clamp, both secured to a heavy-duty steel mounting plate drilled for multiple bolt patterns including 115mm x 105-115mm, 155mm x 115mm, and 90mm x 80mm, covering a wide range of moving head brands. Wing nuts with flat and lock washers provide secure tensioning, and captive coil springs hold the clamps open during rigging. In the folded position the clamps interlock on the plate for a compact, self-contained assembly. The mounting plate carries a black powder-coat finish and the entire assembly is TUV Certified for welding and construction, meeting third-party safety and reliability standards required by many venue and touring contracts.
