The ProX XT-SQ12D is a fixed 12-degree angle connector engineered for F34 square aluminum truss systems used in live stage production, theater rigging, nightclub installs, church AV builds, trade show displays, and mobile touring applications. Unlike standard 90-degree box corners, this connector can be used individually or stacked in multiples to achieve custom angles and decorative roof structures that rigid right-angle hardware cannot produce, all without sacrificing load-bearing performance.
ProX manufactures this connector from Aluminum Alloy EN AW-6082 T6, a composition chosen for its high tensile strength and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for both permanent installations and repeated touring use. The Conical Coupling System provides genderless connections with precisely aligned chords and fastening points. The conical coupler geometry maintains rigidity at stress points and reduces the risk of field damage during assembly or teardown. Setup requires minimal tooling, which matters on compressed load-in schedules. Because ProX owns its manufacturing facility rather than sourcing generic trussing, dimensional tolerances are controlled to be compatible with most other conical-coupled F34 truss products on the market.
Every unit ships with tapered shear pins, retaining clips, and four conical couplings, so crews are not hunting for hardware on site. TUV-certified welding and processes provide third-party verification of structural integrity, giving production managers and AV integrators documented confidence in the connection points supporting overhead lighting and scenic loads.
