The Q-SYS AcousticDesign 4.5" two-way ceiling speaker is engineered for systems integrators and AV designers deploying distributed audio in corporate, hospitality, retail, and institutional environments. Its 150° conical DMT coverage pattern delivers consistent sound pressure across large ceiling grids without the hot spots and roll-off typical of conventional ceiling speakers, reducing the number of speakers required to cover a space effectively.

Designed to function as part of the broader Q-SYS ecosystem, these speakers support Advanced Intrinsic Correction voicings when paired with Q-SYS processors, enabling DSP-driven tuning at the system level rather than requiring external EQ work. The integrated 70/100V transformer with 16Ω bypass gives integrators full flexibility across constant-voltage and low-impedance distributed systems, making this speaker suitable for large-scale multi-zone installations as well as smaller commercial deployments.

For contractors, the 3x double-stepped dog-ear blind mount system and included C-ring with tile rails simplify installation in drop ceilings without requiring above-ceiling access. The snap-fit magnetic grille and blemish-free removable logo support clean, specification-grade finishes demanded by architects and facility managers. IP-34 ingress protection and a rated operating range of -4 to 122° F extend deployment options to semi-exposed or mechanically ventilated spaces, and the speaker is UL2043-listed for use in air handling plenums.
