The Q-SYS AD-C6T-HC is a 6.5" two-way ceiling speaker built for AV integrators specifying distributed audio in spaces where standard ceiling speakers fall short on pattern control or power handling. The two-way transducer design pairs a paper cone woofer with a kapton dome compression tweeter to deliver full-range reproduction from 45 Hz to 20 kHz, covering both constant-voltage and low-impedance amplifier outputs through a 70/100V transformer system with a 16 ohm bypass.
For engineers working within the Q-SYS ecosystem, Advanced Intrinsic Correction voicing is available natively through Q-SYS software, eliminating the need for external DSP hardware to achieve accurate system alignment. The AcousticDesign series is designed for tonal consistency across ceiling, surface, and pendant form factors, which gives integrators the ability to mix models across multi-zone hospitality, house of worship, corporate campus, and large-venue installs without audible discontinuity between zones.
The 3x double-stepped long-travel dog-ear blind mount system ships with a C-ring and rails, reducing above-ceiling labor in both new construction and retrofit scenarios. A snap-fit magnetic grille completes trim without additional hardware. Optional accessories including a mud ring and collar adapter are available to support a wider range of ceiling conditions and cutout preparation.
