The Q-SYS AD-DWL 5.25" Landscape Loudspeaker series is engineered for AV integrators specifying permanent outdoor audio in demanding environments: theme parks, corporate campuses, hospitality properties, and public plazas. The bollard form factor positions the speaker at grade level, integrating naturally into landscaped surroundings without the visual intrusion of wall- or post-mounted enclosures. Available in 180° and 360° coverage patterns, the family addresses both directional and omnidirectional deployment needs from a single product platform.
Each enclosure is constructed from F1-F2 UL Rated glass-filled polypropylene and has exceeded MilSpec819 thresholds for humidity, salt spray, UV exposure, and temperature cycling. That level of environmental validation separates this series from commodity outdoor speakers that degrade within a few seasons in coastal, high-humidity, or high-UV installations. IP-55 ingress protection and tamper-resistant stainless-steel hardware add layers of reliability appropriate for unsupervised public-space deployments. Full-range two-way performance is delivered via a weather-resistant cone woofer and aluminum dome tweeter configuration, with 70/100V distributed audio transformer taps and a 16 Ohm bypass covering both distributed and direct-drive system designs.
Integrators working within the Q-SYS ecosystem gain access to Intrinsic Correction voicing filters for precise system tuning without outboard EQ. A direct-to-concrete mounting collar is included, and the optional AD-DWL.BASE accessory enables burial mounting for a fully flush grade-level finish where site conditions require it.
