The Q-SYS Core Nano is designed for AV integrators and system designers who need centralized networked processing without the overhead of unused analog I/O. Installations built around modern networked endpoints, including those running Q-LAN, AES67, or Dante, can leverage the Core Nano as a cost-effective shared processing hub that does not sacrifice platform capability for a reduced footprint. It ships as a 1U half-width unit with mounting hardware included, making it suitable for compact rack deployments in conference rooms, classrooms, and distributed AV systems where rack space is at a premium.
For unified communications and room conferencing applications, the Core Nano provides the infrastructure for full web conference room integration. USB AV bridging supports all major conferencing applications, eight acoustic echo cancellation processors handle challenging acoustics, and up to two VoIP softphone instances are available for SIP-based telephony. Software-based Dante expands microphone compatibility, and the platform supports external USB audio device hosting for standard headsets and speakerphones.
As part of the broader Q-SYS ecosystem, the Core Nano runs the same Q-SYS software suite used across the full Core processor lineup. Integrators work within a consistent design and configuration environment, and the system scales through feature licenses rather than hardware replacement. Optional licenses unlock expanded Dante channel counts up to 32x32, additional audio recording capacity, and Collaboration Bundle scaling. Third-party plugin support and a full-featured Q-SYS control engine round out the platform for rooms requiring device control, paging, BGM, automation, and system monitoring in a single processor.
