The Q-SYS DCA3022 is a two-channel, low-impedance power amplifier engineered for non-networked cinema audio installations. With 2-Step H output circuitry, it delivers sustained high power across 8, 4, and 2-ohm loads without the thermal stress common in Class AB designs, making it a practical choice for screen channels, surrounds, and subwoofer applications in commercial cinema environments. The DataPort HD15 interface provides direct connectivity to DCP Digital Cinema Processors and DCM Digital Cinema Monitors, enabling system-level control without additional hardware.

At 3.5 rack units and 14 inches deep, the DCA3022 fits inside standard shallow racks, reducing installation footprint and infrastructure cost. Variable-speed fan cooling with rear-to-front airflow keeps the amplifier thermally stable in enclosed rack environments. Patented Output Averaging short-circuit protection and full thermal, ultrasonic, and RF protection ensure load stability even under reactive or mismatched speaker conditions — a critical requirement in installed cinema systems where access during operation is limited.

For integrators building or maintaining cinema audio systems, the DCA3022 offers a balance of output capability, physical efficiency, and control flexibility. DIP-switch rear-panel configuration covers clip limiting, LF filtering, input parallel or stereo routing, and bridge mode — all accessible without software. Neutrik Speakon and safety-shrouded barrier strip outputs support both permanent installation wiring and serviceability under time pressure.
