Its 2-Step H output circuitry sustains high power across 8, 4, and 2-ohm loads without the thermal stress associated with Class AB designs, making it a dependable choice for screen channels, surrounds, and subwoofer applications in auditoriums where amplifier access during operation is restricted.
The DataPort HD15 interface provides direct system-level connectivity to DCP Digital Cinema Processors and DCM Digital Cinema Monitors, eliminating the need for additional control hardware and simplifying rack layouts in equipment rooms with limited depth. At 3.5 rack units and 14 inches deep, the DCA3022 fits inside standard shallow racks, reducing both physical footprint and installation cost. Variable-speed fan cooling with rear-to-front airflow keeps the amplifier thermally stable in sealed rack enclosures.
For configuration, the rear-panel DIP switches cover clip limiting, LF filtering, input routing, and bridge mode, all accessible without software or a networked interface. Neutrik Speakon and safety-shrouded barrier strip outputs support both permanent wiring and rapid serviceability. Patented Output Averaging short-circuit protection combined with full thermal, ultrasonic, and RF protection keeps the amplifier stable under reactive or mismatched speaker conditions common in permanent cinema installations.
