The Q-SYS Digital Cinema I/O Interface is purpose-built for cinema integrators deploying Q-SYS-enabled multiplexes who need dedicated, per-auditorium audio I/O without building a signal chain from multiple discrete devices. It connects directly to Q-SYS Core processors over a redundant dual-gigabit Q-LAN network, handling AES3/EBU digital inputs from projector IMBs and alternate content sources, mic/line analog inputs, HI/VI accessibility outputs, and a powered monitor output capable of driving a passive speaker. Available with or without HDMI connectivity, the family covers both standard and video-integrated screen configurations within the same ecosystem.

Managed entirely through Q-SYS Designer Software, the interface supports custom UCIs, touchpanels, and mobile apps, giving integrators a unified system view across every room in a multiplex. This eliminates the per-room configuration complexity that comes with traditional cinema audio architectures and makes remote monitoring practical at scale. Relay control outputs and RS-232/GPI automation inputs provide the hooks needed to tie into projector automation, lighting, and third-party venue control systems.
