The DPM's defining capability is QSC's Intrinsic Correction technology, which applies factory-derived speaker-specific correction curves to QSC Digital Cinema Speaker cabinets. Optimized out-of-box performance is available before a single room measurement is taken, shortening the tuning cycle on every installation. A configurable crossover architecture spanning passive, bi-amp, tri-amp, and quad-amp configurations across three screen channels lets technicians match amplifier topology to any screen size or format without adding external processors.
Network management via Ethernet with full SNMP support fits naturally into IP-managed multiplex infrastructure, enabling centralized monitoring of amplifier load faults, relay status, and overall system health. RS-232 automation control and six contact closure inputs connect directly to projection automation and show control systems. The DPM series is available with or without HDMI and advanced audio codec support, giving integrators the flexibility to match the processor to the specific format requirements of each auditorium. Field-updatable firmware protects the installation investment as digital cinema format standards continue to evolve.
