The NV-32-H (Core Capable) is a software-configurable AV endpoint built natively into the Q-SYS Platform, designed for AV integrators and systems engineers deploying unified communications, conference room AV, and networked video distribution across enterprise and higher-education environments. Its two operating modes address fundamentally different job requirements without requiring separate hardware: Core Mode converts the device into a standalone Q-SYS processor with local HDMI switching, while Peripheral Mode enables multi-stream encoding or decoding for HDMI distribution across a standard IP network.
For UC&C deployments, the NV-32-H connects Q-SYS network cameras and audio feeds to Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet via a driverless USB connection, eliminating driver management overhead in managed IT environments. The onboard audio subsystem includes eight software-based acoustic echo cancelation channels, 32x32 Q-LAN network audio, and analog I/O via 3.5mm and HDMI, covering the majority of conference room signal requirements without additional DSP hardware. Optional software licenses extend the platform with Dante channels, a control engine, UCI deployment tools, and Q-SYS Shift encoding or decoding for compressed video transport.
Where the NV-32-H differentiates itself from standalone AV-over-IP nodes or discrete DSP units is its single-platform integration: all configuration, control, and monitoring runs through Q-SYS OS, removing the need for third-party control middleware or advanced programming. Cryptographically-signed firmware updates keep security current across the full installed system. Flexible mounting in 1RU half-rack, surface, table, or wall configurations supports both rack-based AV infrastructure and decentralized room installations.
