The Q-SYS NVM-302D is purpose-built for AV integrators and system designers who need to scale network video across hospitality, government, entertainment, and collaboration spaces without adding proprietary matrix hardware or separate management platforms. As a network HDMI decoder pre-installed with the NVM-D1 single-channel decode app, it delivers up to 4K60 4:4:4 output over a standard IP network using the Mediacast AV routing paradigm, making it practical for deployments involving hundreds of endpoints where bandwidth efficiency is critical.
What separates NVM Series from conventional AV-over-IP decoders is its native integration with Q-SYS Designer Software. Rather than requiring a parallel video management system, the NVM Designer tool allows engineers to configure, route, and automate video endpoints within the same environment used for DSP programming and control interface design. This unified approach eliminates redundant workflows and reduces commissioning time at scale. The software-defined architecture also positions the hardware for future capability expansion through firmware updates, including USB-C AV bridging.
For installations that already include Q-SYS NV Series endpoints, the NVM-302D can operate alongside them when NV Series is configured in Mediacast mode, providing a flexible migration path for evolving system designs. RS-232 and IR connectivity enable third-party device control at the display, while 2.5GBASE-T networking and PoE+ power delivery simplify infrastructure requirements at each endpoint location.
