The Q-SYS NVM-302E is a network HDMI encoder built for systems integrators and AV designers who need to distribute high-quality video at scale across hospitality, government, entertainment, and collaboration environments. Unlike standalone encoders that require separate matrix or management hardware, the NVM-302E is configured entirely within Q-SYS Designer Software, enabling no-code deployment of hundreds of endpoints through a single unified environment that also handles DSP programming, AV routing, and control interface design.

The NVM-302E ships pre-installed with the NVM-E1 single-channel encode app, capable of streaming up to 4K60 4:4:4 from two switched HDMI 2.0 inputs. Integrators who require simultaneous dual-stream output can expand to the NVM-E2 app via license, delivering two independent 4K30 4:4:4 streams — one per input — without swapping hardware. The Mediacast AV routing paradigm provides network-efficient transport designed for large endpoint counts, and the platform is forward-compatible with select NV Series endpoints operating in Mediacast mode.

Powered by PoE+ or PoE++ with no external power supply required, the NVM-302E reduces rack infrastructure overhead and simplifies installation in space-constrained locations. RS-232 and IR outputs support third-party device control from within the Q-SYS ecosystem, and USB-C AV bridging is planned for a future firmware release — ensuring the hardware investment remains relevant as platform capabilities expand.
