The Q-SYS NVM-302E is designed for systems integrators and AV designers who need to distribute high-quality video across large environments including hospitality, government, enterprise collaboration, and entertainment venues. Because configuration lives entirely inside Q-SYS Designer Software, the NVM-302E eliminates the separate matrix switchers and management appliances that traditional AV over IP deployments require. Engineers can program DSP, define AV routing, and build control interfaces in one unified environment, then replicate that configuration across hundreds of endpoints without specialized middleware.
The NVM-302E ships with the NVM-E1 single-channel encode app, enabling 4K60 4:4:4 output from two switched HDMI 2.0 inputs. Integrators who need simultaneous dual-stream output can upgrade via license to the NVM-E2 app, delivering two independent streams without replacing hardware. The Mediacast AV routing paradigm is built for network-efficient transport at scale and maintains forward compatibility with select NV Series endpoints. HDCP 2.3 and 1.4 support ensures protected content sources are handled without workarounds.
PoE+ and PoE++ operation removes the need for external power supplies, reducing rack overhead and simplifying installation in tight spaces such as ceiling voids or under-table enclosures. RS-232 and IR outputs allow third-party device control from within the Q-SYS ecosystem, consolidating AV and control infrastructure on a single platform. A software-defined architecture means future firmware releases can unlock additional capabilities, including USB-C AV bridging, protecting the hardware investment as deployment requirements evolve.
