The Q-SYS PL-DC12 is built for AV integrators and system designers who need adaptable, high-output loudspeaker coverage in permanent installed environments. Its reconfigurable and rotatable half-horn assemblies allow the dispersion pattern to be tuned on-site, making a single enclosure viable as a stage fill, delay speaker, or front-of-house unit in smaller venues — reducing SKU count on complex installs and simplifying inventory management.

The IP54-rated weatherized wooden enclosure, featuring exterior plywood, stainless hardware, polyurea paint, UV- and corrosion-treated grille, and hydrophobic stainless steel mesh, supports protected outdoor deployments such as covered amphitheaters, hospitality terraces, and stadium concourses. This separates the PL-DC12 from standard indoor-only point source cabinets in its class.

When paired with Q-SYS CX-Q network amplifiers, the system enables custom voicings and filter sets that accelerate commissioning and improve sonic consistency across multi-zone installs in entertainment, corporate, and higher education facilities. Multiple mounting options extend compatibility across ceiling, wall, and truss configurations.
