The Q-SYS PL-LA12 series targets integrators and system designers specifying permanent installation line arrays for corporate auditoriums, higher education lecture halls, entertainment spaces, and protected outdoor environments. As a two-way passive and bi-amp capable loudspeaker, it gives designers the flexibility to match amplifier topology to each project's performance and budget requirements without sacrificing headroom or speech intelligibility. The QSC LEAF waveguide delivers precise horizontal and vertical dispersion, a critical advantage in reverberant rooms where pattern control directly determines clarity across the coverage zone.
Native integration with Q-SYS CX-Q 4-channel network amplifiers sets this series apart from commodity install arrays. Custom voicings and filter sets can be deployed across an entire venue rapidly, reducing commissioning time and eliminating manual tuning at each enclosure. Integrated rigging hardware supports flown arrays of up to twelve enclosures, and compatibility with the PL-SUB18 subwoofer enables scalable system builds where extended low-frequency reinforcement is required. Ground-stack configurations are also supported when deployed with the appropriate array frame or subwoofer base.
The impact-resistant ABS enclosure carries an IP54 weatherization rating, with stainless and aluminum rigging hardware, a UV and corrosion-treated hydrophobic grille, and an IP65-rated input cup with cable gland, making both variants equally suited to demanding indoor environments and protected outdoor coverage zones. The series is available in black and white finishes to meet architectural requirements across a wide range of install projects.
