The Q-SYS RSB212 is a passive dual-12-inch subwoofer designed for permanent cinema installations where reference-quality bass reproduction is required. Built as part of the Q-SYS Reference Monitor System, it pairs directly with the RSC-112 screen channel loudspeaker and is optimized for deployment behind perforated screens, making it a purpose-built solution for cinema sound engineers and AV integrators working on high-performance screening environments.

With a frequency range extending down to 30 Hz and a crossover architecture that supports up to 48 dB/octave slopes via dedicated Q-SYS DSP, the RSB212 delivers the precision low-frequency control demanded by post-production facilities, commercial cinema, and large-format screening rooms. The 3-ohm rated impedance and 1000 W power handling allow direct integration with high-current amplifier designs without compromise in dynamic headroom.

Constructed from 15-ply Baltic birch plywood for enclosure rigidity and long-term dimensional stability, the RSB212 includes M10 threaded inserts for flexible and structurally secure mounting across a range of rigging and installation configurations. The parallel NL8 Speakon input supports signal loop-through wiring, streamlining multi-cabinet installations. For integrators requiring acoustic boundary optimization, the optional RBK-12 baffle wing kit provides additional deployment flexibility.
