The Q-SYS Server Core X10 is designed for systems integrators and AV engineers deploying medium to large-scale installations that demand reliable, scalable audio, video, and control processing from a single rack unit. As a full-stack platform processor, it serves as the central node for distributed network I/O across multiple zones, conference rooms, auditoriums, or campus-wide deployments where processing headroom and network flexibility are non-negotiable.
For integrators managing unified communications infrastructure, the X10 supports up to 32 VoIP softphone instances, 64 channels of acoustic echo cancellation with 200 ms tail length, and compatibility with up to 16 Q-SYS NM-T1 tabletop microphones. Dante integration is included at 8x8 and licensable to 128x128, which gives teams the flexibility to grow a system without replacing core hardware. The 256 GB onboard media drive supports multitrack playback and recording, making the X10 equally capable in conference centers, performing arts facilities, and broadcast environments.
Compared to standalone DSPs or software-only platforms, the X10 delivers enterprise server hardware engineered specifically for the Q-SYS ecosystem, including four 2.5 Gbps Ethernet ports that allow simultaneous segregation of multimedia and auxiliary network services. This separation keeps VoIP, SNMP, LDAP, and WAN media streaming on independent paths, reducing network contention in complex installations. The 1 RU profile and included rack kit make deployment straightforward in any standard equipment rack.
