The Q-SYS Server Core X20r is built for AV integrators and systems engineers deploying large-scale audio, video, and control infrastructures in corporate campuses, higher education facilities, hospitality venues, and entertainment environments. By combining the Q-SYS Full Stack AV Platform with enterprise Dell R360XE server hardware, it acts as the central processing hub that efficiently distributes network I/O across a facility, eliminating the bottlenecks that plague distributed systems relying on multiple standalone processors.

Where conventional DSP platforms hit channel count ceilings early, the Server Core X20r scales to meet complex demands. Its 384x384 networked audio channel capacity via Q-LAN and AES67, 128-channel AEC at 200 ms tail length, and software-based Dante expandable to 256x256 give integrators the headroom to design without compromise. Support for up to 64 VoIP softphone instances, 24 Q-SYS NM-T1 tabletop microphones, and 96x96 Media/WAN streaming capacity makes it equally suited for unified communications deployments and large-format conferencing spaces.

The 1 RU form factor fits standard rack infrastructure while dual redundant hot-swappable power supplies and a dedicated iDRAC v9 remote management port address the uptime requirements of mission-critical installs. Four independent gigabit Ethernet ports, split between multimedia and auxiliary functions, allow clean network segmentation for VoIP, SNMP, LLDP, LDAP, and WAN media services. The onboard 480 GB media drive supports multitrack playback expandable to 256 channels with optional licensing, making the Server Core X20r a long-term platform investment rather than a fixed-capacity appliance.
