The Q-SYS SPA-Qf series is purpose-built for AV integrators and systems designers deploying installed audio within the Q-SYS ecosystem. These amplifiers pair directly with Q-SYS Core OS processing, allowing a single platform to handle signal routing, DSP, control logic, and amplification without third-party bridging. That native integration reduces rack space, simplifies commissioning, and eliminates protocol translation layers that create reliability risk in commercial installs.
Each model delivers 60 W per channel into 4 or 8 ohm loads, with Bridge Tied Load capability reaching 120 W for 70 Vrms and 100 Vrms distributed audio runs. The onboard flex channels are software-configurable through Q-SYS Designer Software as mic/line inputs with 48V phantom power or as line-level outputs, giving integrators the I/O flexibility to serve conference rooms, classrooms, lobbies, and multi-zone retail environments from a centralized rack. Four bi-directional GPIO pins extend control to microphone LEDs, occupancy sensors, and wall buttons, reducing the need for separate control hardware at endpoints.
The half-rack, 1RU chassis ships with mounting hardware supporting rack and wall installation, making it practical for both main equipment rooms and distributed closet deployments. Convection cooling eliminates fan noise, a critical requirement in speech-intelligibility-sensitive spaces. Comprehensive amplifier and load protection covers short circuit, over current, over voltage, thermal, RF, and DC fault conditions, supporting the uptime demands of corporate, hospitality, and education installs. Available in two-channel and four-channel configurations to match zone density requirements.
