The bundle pairs the Lenovo ThinkSmart Core Gen2 compute unit with a 10.1-inch CAT-extended touchscreen controller and arrives with the Q-SYS Control for Microsoft Teams Rooms application pre-installed. That pre-installation removes the configuration overhead typical of multi-vendor UC deployments and shortens commissioning time on the job site.
Integrators already working within the Q-SYS ecosystem will find the UC-MTR-L2 slots cleanly into existing room designs. Dual network interfaces keep AV and corporate traffic separated without requiring additional switching infrastructure, while HDMI ingest feeds content directly into the Q-SYS signal chain. The Intel Core Ultra 7 processor and 32 GB DDR5 memory provide headroom for simultaneous Teams Rooms operation, AV control logic, and multi-camera management without performance trade-offs. These resources also support room automation and scalable control logic that can grow with the space as requirements change.
The CAT-extended controller runs power and data over a single CAT-5e or better cable to the included link box, cutting tabletop cable clutter and suiting installations where clean cable management is a contract requirement.
