Q-SYS Zip4-PTT Mic-Mag Dante Paging Mic With Magnetic Base

The Q-SYS Zip4-PTT Mic-Mag is a push-to-talk paging microphone purpose-built as the operator-facing input device for the Attero Tech Zip4 four-zone Dante/AES67 paging interface. It is aimed at systems integrators and AV engineers deploying large-scale paging infrastructure in sporting venues, airport terminals, transit hubs, convention centers, and corporate campuses where dependable zone-based announcements are operationally critical.

Connecting via RJ-45 directly to the Zip4 rear-panel mic input, the microphone supports both dynamic and phantom-powered capsules selected by a rear-panel switch, and draws power from an 802.3af PoE source, eliminating the need for a dedicated analog mic preamp at the paging station. The dry-contact PTT input activates on closure for predictable operator control, while four white-backlit zone buttons and bi-color status LEDs give operators immediate visual confirmation of zone selection and system state, all managed over the network.

For integrators specifying networked paging workflows, the Zip4-PTT Mic-Mag integrates natively with Q-SYS Designer Software through the Q-SYS Extension PA Router, and also connects to third-party paging management systems via the Zip4 platform.
