The QSC AD-S.SUB 6.5-Inch Surface Mount Subwoofer is ideally suited for background music applications that require depth and clarity at lower volume settings.
Experience deep, clear audio even at lower volumes. The AD-S.SUB from QSC’s AcousticDesign series is ideal in foreground and background sound reinforcement situations utilizing 70/100V or 16Ω bypass configurations. The AD-S.SUB features a 6.5" weather-treated paper cone woofer on a dual voice coil for improved thermal dissipation and higher output within a small form factor.
Mix and match to get the best background music performance for your application. The AD-S.SUB is compatible with up to four satellite speakers from the SUB/SAT line. Connections are located behind a reversible rear panel: the input panel offers cable tie anchor points, while the in-thru and outputs terminate to locking 4-pole Euroblock style connectors capable of 12AWG (2 mm) wire thickness.
Maintain an accurate frequency response even in 70/100V applications. The speaker’s low-loss, low-saturation 30-watt transformer offers selectable taps including a 4Ω bypass in mono mode. Among its many features, Intrinsic Correction™ voicings can be deployed to optimize installation and performance.
Install your speaker safely, securely, and swiftly. Each AcousticDesign model comes with the award-winning X-Mount™ system that is rotatable on all four 90° axes for simple and easy wall or ceiling installation in either horizontal or vertical orientations. The pivot planes feature knurled surfaces to prevent drifting or sagging over time, while articulation marks allow you to preconfigure the mounting system on the ground—without requiring special tools. The AD-S.SUB can also be configured via rotary selectors, while a two-piece mounting system and reversible wall mounting hardware provide even more versatile installation options.
AcousticDesign speakers are free of obtrusive branding. They’re available in black or white, as well as paintable to match any décor.
