The Q-SYS MPA-Q 8x250 is an 8-channel network amplifier designed for distributed and performance-focused installed audio systems that need native integration with the Q-SYS platform. It supports low-impedance and constant-voltage loudspeaker deployments from the same amplifier architecture, making it suitable for hospitality, retail, entertainment, and government environments where system flexibility and centralized control matter. Dual gigabit Ethernet ports support networked audio resilience, while the 2RU full-rack chassis fits standard equipment rooms and AV racks.

For integrators building systems that must keep passing audio during interruptions, the amplifier includes standalone operation with the ability to switch to available analog inputs if network connectivity drops. LAN A can accept PoE for quick time-to-audio after a power event, helping restore signal flow faster in critical paging and background music applications. Analog Mode also allows the unit to function as a fully analog amplifier, with basic channel setup available from the front panel display.

Beyond amplification, the platform includes onboard DSP and control connectivity for broader system design needs. Eight line-level analog inputs, four GPI inputs, and two NO/NC relays provide useful integration points for control logic and source routing. Included rack and surface-mount hardware, plus Euroblock connectivity, support clean installation workflows in commercial AV projects.
