The Radial StageBug SB5W is built for AV integrators and system contractors who need a clean, permanent solution for feeding consumer-level sources into professional audio infrastructure. Sized to fit a standard Decora single-gang wall plate, it installs flush into any boardroom, house of worship, classroom, or performance venue where a fixed-location source connection is required.
Its passive transformer-isolated circuit accepts both RCA and 3.5mm TRS inputs simultaneously, accommodating laptops, tablets, and media players without requiring a power supply or external chassis. A 14-gauge steel shell provides full electromagnetic shielding, protecting the signal path from RF interference and external radiation common in installed environments where cables run near lighting dimmers or data infrastructure.
Screw terminal outputs simplify permanent wiring to mixer inputs or wall-panel punch-downs, making termination straightforward for contracted installs. Transformer isolation breaks ground loops at the source, eliminating the hum and buzz that plague unbalanced consumer devices feeding professional consoles — a problem passive isolation handles reliably without active circuitry to maintain or power.
