By converting an unbalanced consumer line signal to a balanced, mic-level XLR output, it bridges the gap between prosumer playback devices and pro mixing consoles or snake systems on the fly.

The onboard potentiometer provides direct level control over the outgoing balanced signal, giving the operator hands-on management of output without touching the source device. A DBT transformer handles the conversion, providing passive isolation that keeps ground loops and hum out of the signal path.
