The RapcoHorizon MDS-112 is engineered for broadcast engineers, systems integrators, and live production crews who need to distribute a single line-level audio source to multiple destinations without ground loop interference. Transformer isolation on every output ensures clean splits across channels, making it a reliable choice for press conference feeds, broadcast mult boxes, and installed AV distribution points where signal integrity cannot be compromised.
The unit accepts balanced or unbalanced line-level signals via paralleled XLR female, XLR male, and 1/4" TRS inputs, giving front-of-house engineers and AV technicians flexible connection options regardless of source format. Outputs deliver discrete isolated XLR males paralleled with 1/4" TRS jacks, and channels 1 and 2 include 3.5mm stereo outputs for consumer device feeds or recording. Ground lift switches on each channel give technicians immediate control over hum and buzz without rerouting cables.
Built into a rugged steel enclosure with recessed connectors and handles on both sides, the MDS-112 is designed to withstand the demands of touring press pools and permanent installs alike.
